From Bump to Baby in a Flash!

When I first found out I was pregnant it didn't take long for me to realise I wanted this amazing time of my life and the very beginnings of my future sons life capturing forever.
It was also clear who I wanted to capture these special moments, our future wedding photographer, Sarah Mason.

We decided to use Temple Newsam, a Tudor-Jacobian mansion set in over 1500 acres of land near to where we live as the backdrop for the 'Bump Shoot'.  We chose here as it holds a special place in my heart as I've spent many hours there growing up as it is literally over the fields from my parents house and we now frequent Temple Newsam for big family picnics and romantic dog walks.  Therefore, it seemed the perfect place to take the Bump.

Sarah is a fantastic photographer and really puts you at ease.  I'm not very comfortable in front of the camera but Sarah guides you into poses in a very gentle way and I never felt silly whilst posing for the photos as she doesn't have you hanging around for long.
As you can see from the photo of the 'Bump Shoot' below we definitely chose the right person for the job.

Not only does Sarah know what she is doing behind that camera, she is a genuinely lovely lady and by the end of the session you feel like you have known her for years, hence why we decided to have a 'Baby Shoot' too to capture this even more amazing time of our lives.  Being a parent is absolutely the best thing in the world and I am so much in love with my awesome son.  So it is with great pride that I introduce to you all my beautiful son, Luca.
